FAQs

Wall decals will stick to most smooth or lightly textured surfaces that are free of dirt and dust. Smoothly painted walls, metals, and glass are ideal. They can also be installed on curved surfaces, like columns or pillars. Wall decals won’t stick to rough or uneven surfaces, like stucco, cinder block, and brick. You can test your wall with a piece of masking tape. If it sticks to your wall, then our decals will.

I just painted my walls. Does that matter?

You should wait at least 14 days before applying wall decals to newly painted walls. Some important things to keep in mind about volatile organic compound (VOC) paint:

• It can take six to eight weeks to dry entirely.
• Zero VOC eggshell paints might contain small amounts of silicone. If they do, wall decals won’t stick.

What should I do if the wall decals won’t stick?

If the decals won’t stick to the wall, find out if the wall is not clean or has residue on it. If your wall is clean but the decal is not sticking, leave the transfer tape so that the decal will adhere better. Remove the tape after 15 minutes.

How do I prevent wrinkles or bubbles from forming during application?

Use a squeegee to smooth out the material as you gradually remove the liner and apply the wall decal to the surface.

How long will my wall decals last?

With proper installation and care, your custom wall decals can look fresh for up to five years when applied to indoor walls. outdoor walls are not recomended for this product.

Are wall decals removable?

Yes, our wall decals are removable and repositionable. If you want to redecorate your office or home, you can easily peel off the removable wall decal from the wall and apply it where you want.

Formats we accept when uploading my design.

We accept TIF, TIFF, EPS, AI, PSD, BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, and PDF files. PSD, PDF, and AI files should be in CMYK color mode to ensure accurate color output. The resolution of your files should be set to 300 dpi, unless stated otherwise.

3. If "Straight to Production" was selected, after uploading your order, you will have a preview of the file to be printed. If you ordered a PDF Proof, you will receive a ("soft") proof of your brochure within 24 hours. We will notify you via email when the proof is available for your review. You can also access the proof by logging into your account. Printing of your order will proceed once you have approved the proof
